Our Happy Hearts - Do you know York Adopt A Pet need to know, Sweet Doogan. This 9 year old plott hound/black labrador mix was the mellowest man in the crowd at the chaotic doggy event today. Doogan loves nothing more than to be pet by people and there is pretty much nothing that bothers him. In the middle of all the madness, Doogan slept in his bed the whole time! Doogan is the guy who doesn't ask for much at all. He just wants to snooze on your couch, eat some great food, take a sniff in the grass....and REPEAT!

Doogan can be adopted in the surrounding New York area. He will equally love city or suburban life, he's not picky! Doogan is house trained, laid back, and an all around wonderful pup.

PupStarz Rescue says, "He is a super happy, tail-wagging, laid back boy. He likes being outside, taking in his surroundings and meeting other people, dogs and especially kids. This sweet boy loves being pet! Especially belly rubs. He'll roll on his back and stick up his paws, sometimes waving you over to pet him."

Doogan would make an amazing dog for a family who has an extra spot on their couch for an old guy who still loves to laugh and enjoy the simple pleasures in life. Please, give him a chance!!
